Freeman and Joseph Hughes, based its one and only officially released album on Roland Barthes' treatise A Lover's Discourse: Fragments. I'm thinking, in particular, of the two (obvious) fragmented works that are driving my interest in the fragment form: Shaviro's Connected and Barthes' A Lover's Discourse.
